Important information for your stay at Hotel Scholl

1. Parking

Our hotel is made up of four historic houses located in the center of a charming medieval town. We are unable to offer private parking. However, public parking is almost always readily available.

The city parking area P8 “Holzmarkt” is located directly in front of the hotel. While this is a busy square, cars come and go frequently and it is usually possible to find parking with a bit of patience.

In addition to the Holzmarkt the city of Schwäbisch Hall operates four multi-level parking garages. The closest two are about five minutes walk from our front door.

If you’d like to park in one of the garages it is quite easy to park temporarily in the Holzmarkt, drop off your luggage, and then park the car.

The city sells day parking tickets for the Holzmarkt for 8 EUR per day. These vouchers are available at our reception desk.

Day parking tickets are valid Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8 a.m. til 6 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays are market days and day vouchers are available from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Parking is free from 6 p.m. till 8 a.m., on Sundays and holidays.

2. Reception opening hours

Monday - Friday 7 a.m. til Noon and 2:30 p.m. til 8 p.m.

Saturday 8 a.m. til Noon and 2:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Sunday 8 a.m. - Noon (Please call us with your expected arrival time on Sunday and we will be happy to accomodate you.)

N.B. our reception is closed for lunch between Noon and 2:30 p.m.

Reception services are also available through our bar staff during Bärbel American Bar’s opening hours, which are Tuesday - Saturday from 6 p.m. till 1 a.m.

3. Check-In is available from 3 p.m.

We take care to provide you with a spotless room. Check in is available from 3 p.m. Of course, we are happy to store your luggage if you arrive early.

4. Check-Out time is 11 a.m.

We are happy to store your luggage while you enjoy the town or finish up your business. Late check out is possible by prior arrangement on an as-available basis. A late check-out fee of 50 EUR applies.

5. Breakfast hours

Monday - Friday 7 a.m. till 10 a.m.

Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays 8 a.m. til Noon.

6. Bicycle and Motorcycle storage.

We have limited space available on a first-come-first-served basis for bicycles and motorcycles in our private garage. Please let us know in advance by telephone or e-mail if you would like us to store your bike.

7. Gym

We have made arrangements for our guests with a modern and fully equipped gym. Fair Fitness is a five minute walk from the hotel. Entry and use of the facility is free. Please request a fitness key from the reception or bar. Fitness Keys are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
